Naughty & Nice: Temporary Tattoos / Permanent Vibes

My wife and I collaborate on our personal holiday card each year.
This year she wanted to do a spin on the Naughty / Nice List. We discussed how this idea had been done a lot but wondered if there was a different take on it we could find.

We have always wanted to create a temporary tattoo, so we explored this a vehicle for the idea. I started doodling and sketching some letterforms. I wanted to see if it would be possible for the tattoo to read one way to the person who applied it and different to someone else. The idea of Reflection - both your behavior and looking back on something - tied in perfectly to our Naughty / Nice concept.

The Packaging
Inklings: Temporary Tattoos - Permanent Vibes​​​​​​​

Even with the tattoo designed we still needed a card component to bring the whole piece together. So we created a package that both held the tattoos and also gave us space to wish our family and friends a happy holiday. We branded them as "Inklings" and will be dropping them in the post box at the beginning of December.

So have you been Naughty or Nice? My guess is it's a bit of both.
